Résumé en anglais
As the world becomes more connected, cultures have influenced each other and a “single, homogenous world culture” has begun to emerge. This has provided a wake-upcall for peoples around the globe, and many cultural groups are working harder than ever to preserve their individual identities and pride in their communities. Local traditions and values are making a valiant comeback. Benjamin Barber has described this as a “tribalism” trend — operating in direct opposition to the forces that are leading us toward a homogenized “McWorld.”
