Résumé en anglais
This paper argues the special position of Okinoshima island by highlighting the conflict between the locals and the growing interest of the tourists following its inscription to UNESCO World Heritage. The author presents the key use of new technologies in order to avoid these conflicts and provide the local community and tourists with the opportunity to use copies of the elements of the site that could replace the originals and allow a respectful management of this kind of site.
