Lyela (Burkina Faso) construction sites are subject to a certain number of prohibitions, known as "mason's prohibitions" or "banco (i.e. building earth) prohibitions". They apply to all participants in the construction site. Only one, to our knowledge, concerns only the masons, and it involves their relationship to the building material. It is this prohibition that we are interested in.

Les chantiers de construction lyela (Burkina Faso) font l'objet d'un certain nombres d'interdits, dits "interdits du maçon" ou "interdits du banco". Ils s'adressent à tous les participants au chantier. Un seul, à notre connaissance, ne concerne que les maçons, et il mùet en jeu leurs rapports au matériau de construction. C'est à cet interdit que nous nous intéressons.
