Conference on the occasion of the European Cultural Heritage Summit within the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, Berlin, 17th – 19th of June 2018. - Following the guiding theme of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, “Border Areas – Encounter Areas”, and focussing on the inner-European post-war border of the Iron Curtain, the aim of this international conference is to review, present, and discuss the difficult heritage of the Cold War as well as to explore the potential for a transboundary cooperation and network.

Tagung anlässlich des European Cultural Heritage Summit im Rahmen des Europäischen Kulturerbejahres 2018, Berlin, 17. – 19. Juni 2018. - Ausgehend von dem Leitthema des Europäischen Kulturerbejahres „Grenzräume – begegnungsräume“ will die internationale Tagung mit dem Fokus auf der innereuropäischen Nachkriegsgrenze des Eisernes Vorhanges das schwierige Erbe des Kaltes Krieges aufarbeiten, präsentieren und diskutieren sowie Möglichkeiten einer grenzüberschreitenden Zusammenarbeit und Netzwerkbildung sondieren.
