Résumé en anglais
As a complement to the Charter of Venice and the Norms of Quito, and to support and defend the monumental heritage of Latin America, a document was drawn up which outlined the operational aspects and made a series of recommendations for the protection of this heritage. This resolution was made during the Inter - American Seminar on Experiences in Conservation and Restoration of the Monumental Heritage of the Colonial and Republican Period, celebrated in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on December 8, 1974.
