25 years of ICOMOS is a historical period requiring systematic evaluation. We recommend the setting up of an editorial board to fulfil this mission operating within the UNESCO/ICOMOS Documentation Centre. In the future it will be necessary to broaden the ICOMOS membership, to cooperate with the UNESCO programme World Decade of Cultural Development, to endorse the importance of the World cultural heritage.
