Journal devoted to the study of rock art in Colombia.This journal is intended as a disseminator of the works related to the theme of rock art. The magazine collects all topics and produced theoretical and practical aspects in the construction of this object and aims to unify the registration process, study and preservation of rock art sites in the country. Discussions about the meaning and function of rock art culture at large may be found in the sections: DISCUSSION AND REFLECTIONS. The ways work is intended to unify the registration and documentation sections: TECHNIQUES AND DOCUMENTATION, which presents proposals and criteria sheets describing paintings and petroglyphs. In order to reassess the previous work and publish research of classical authors, is designed DOCUMENTS section reissue would be interested in such materials accompanied with an introductory work that explains the context and ideas of these researchers and groups. NEWS AND DISCOVERIES is a section showing the progress in the work produced by the search teams and locating new areas.

Revista dedicada al estudio del arte rupestre en Colombia.Esta revista intenta ser un órgano de difusión de los trabajos referentes al tema del arte rupestre. La revista recoge todos los temas y aspectos teóricos y prácticos producidos en la construcción de este objeto y pretende unificar los procesos de registro, estudio y conservación de las estaciones rupestres en el territorio nacional. Los debates sobre el sentido y función cultural del arte rupestre a nivel general podrán encontrarse en las secciones: DISCUSIONES Y REFLEXIONES. Los modos como se piensa unificar el trabajo de registro y documentación en las secciones: TECNICAS Y DOCUMENTACION, donde se presentan propuestas de fichas y criterios de descripción de pinturas y petroglifos. Con el propósito de revaluar los trabajos anteriores y publicar las investigaciones de los autores clásicos, se ha diseñado la sección DOCUMENTOS que estaría interesada en reeditar tales materiales acompañados con un trabajo introductorio que explique el contexto y las ideas de estos investigadores y grupos. NOTICIAS Y DESCUBRIMIENTOS es una sección que mostrará los adelantos en el trabajo producido por los equipos de búsqueda y localización de nuevas zonas.
