Résumé en anglais
The Cathedral Church of Saint Saviour was commenced in 1874 after the establishment ofGoulburn as the See of the Anglican Diocese of Goulburn. The Cathedral Church was designed by Edmund Thomas Blacket, at that time the Colony's foremost ecclesiastical architect. On completion and consecration of the Cathedral proper in 1884, one year after Blacket'suntimely death, the tower had only been completed to a level just over the tower entrance doorway. The tower has remained a stump for another one hundred years, despite numerous attempts in that period to complete Blacket's beautiful tower and spire.
