This publication reports on the Mexican sites inscribed on the World Heritage List of the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (1972) and in the International Register of Cultural Property under Special Protection of the Convention for the Protection of Property Cultural in case of Armed Conflict (1954). In addition, it includes a section on the Convention on the Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage (2001). It is the first time that a publication about the alternation of these three UNESCO cultural conventions has been carried out in Mexico.

Cette publication rend compte des sites mexicains inscrits sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial de la Convention pour la protection du patrimoine mondial culturel et naturel (1972) et dans le Registre international des biens culturels sous protection spéciale de la Convention pour la protection des biens culturels en cas de conflit armé (1954). En outre, il comprend une section sur la Convention sur la protection du patrimoine culturel subaquatique (2001). C'est la première fois qu'une publication sur l'alternance de ces trois conventions culturelles de l'UNESCO est réalisée au Mexique.
