The Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (1972), constitutes a clear statement of universal right and duty we have for the conservation of both cultural and natural properties. In fact, it does so when it states that the deterioration or disappearance of any cultural or natural heritage constitutes a harmful impoverishment of the heritage of all peoples of the world.

La Convención sobre la Protección del Patrimonio Mundial, Natural y Cultural (1972), se constituye en una clara declaración del derecho y deber universales que tenemos por la conservación de tanto los bienes culturales y naturales. En efecto, lo hace así cuando establece que el deterioro o la desaparición de un bien del patrimonio cultural y natural constituye un empobrecimiento nefasto del patrimonio de todos los pueblos del mundo.
