A seminar held on 6 February 2008 brought together for the first time, the Norwegian National Commission forUNESCO, the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, and ICOMOS Norway. The UNESCO Convention for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage was the topic of discussion with presentations from leading experts in human rights, indigenous people issues and cultural heritage.
