Résumé en anglais
The destruction of Wrocław, a city changed into a fortress that endured a three-month siege in 1945, involved great losses in the cultural objects of this historical place. Despite obvious achievements in the post-war restoration of the most important sections of the Old Town and of the most valuable architectonic relics, the city never regained her former splendour.
