Building work for the purpose of protecting and maintaining the building heritage involves very substantial means, and it is with the aid of such means that results have been achieved so far. However, enormous importance attaches to the working methods of the teams of specialists who have dealt with the problems to be faced in the area, and who, under given economic conditions, have achieved results which differ widely.
