Résumé en anglais
This article examines the effects of damp on older buildings. While many historic buildings are constructed with materials that allow them to properly manage moisture, the improper use of materials can disrupt this process and create damage. Climate change also affects the prevalance of concern with damp because of shifting levels of precipitation. Thus, the article specifically addresses the cause for concern with damp, how to identify the issue, and offers solutions to contend with damp.
