Résumé en anglais
Some of the most ancient cultural resources in the United States are locatedin the Four Corners region of the southwest. Ruins of sandstone masonry
buildings constructed by the Anasazi civilization have been exposed for athousand years to a relatively pristine environment. In very recent times,
however, population growth and rapid industrial development have led toincreased pollutant emissions in the area.
