Résumé en anglais
The Shrine of the Báb is the permanent resting place ofthe Herald Prophet of the Bahá’í Faith and the spiritual center of the Bahá’í World Center in Haifa, Israel. The architectural intent of the superstructure shell (1953) over the original mausoleum (1908) and the extensive terraced landscaping (2001) above and below the
structure, was to embrace the visitor in a rich sensory experience that effectively expresses the spiritual significance of the place and also safeguards the site.
